EndoBronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) has emerged as an increasingly Important Imaging modality in respiratory and interventional medicine both diagnostic and ultrasound-guided therapeutic procedures. This program is designed to provide nurses with a thorough update and understanding of the most recent advances in endosonographic technology and equipment; including a step-by-step guide to assisting and preparing for EBUS procedures. Hands-on demonstration will be provided through work stations utilising Olympus ultrasound processors, echoendoscopes, miniprobes and needles used in TBNA procedures. This EndoBroncial Ultrasound Course is endorsed by ACN according to our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Endorsed Course Standards. It has been allocated 3.5 CPD hours according to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Continuing Professional Development Standard.
